After 10 years of being fur free, in September 2013, Harvey Nichols resumed the sale of fur in its United Kingdom stores.
To me, this is going backwards in time and morality.
Despite the outcry about the cruel fur industry, the company insisted its furs are “ethically sourced” from reputable suppliers.
A Canadian company who supply coyote furs to Harvey Nichols has also publicly disclosed a statement admitting capturing the animals from the wild in leg-hold traps.
The Daily Mail, January 2014, published an article pointing out that the coyotes can be “in pain for days”.
